Scandisk ist ein Programm das von Microsoft erstellt wurde, um Fehler aus der Festplatte auszulesen und zu berichtigten. Dadurch wird die Funktionalität des Windows gesichert. Das Programm startet meist nach einem Systemabsturtz oder beim falschen Herunter- bzw. Hochfahren des Rechners (z.B. Stromabschalten währen des laufendes Betriebes oder beim Stromausfall)!
